Timing is everything ...London based band HÆLOS have released a gorgeous new single - Kyoto. While the sushi themed video has nothing to do with DC's cherrished Cherry Blossoms ... the hook of the song is all about them:
Cherry blossom cherry blossom
It's the air that we breathe
How have we forgotten what it means to be
Cherry blossom cherry blossom
It's the world that we leave
Here for what we want but do we know what we need
Organizers of Woodstock 50 have revealed their amazing lineup … and now they’ve broken that lineup down each day by stage … see below.
Tickets to the fest go on sale on Earth Day (April 22) but pricing details have yet to be released. However – festival promoters did say that they do not plan on selling single-day tickets, only multiple-day passes, including ones that come with camping and “glamping” options … the reason behind the lack of single day sales makes sense though:
“It’s really to simplify the traffic patterns. We don’t want people coming in and out on a daily basis it seems that would create more problems than we need and frankly anyone who is interested in coming should come for the three days,”
Organizers also brought up the ill-fated Woodstock ’99 …
“In the end, it was partially my fault (and) partially the fault of the fans of Insane Clown Posse who were running amok all weekend. But at the end of the show, the Chili Peppers were on stage closing the festival. They had been given permission to hand out candles, and that was a mistake. [People] started to set things on fire, and it started to grow.”
They also blamed “angry” music of the time, a la Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff” anthem
But this year - “The music we have this time is not angry, it’s very progressive and very socially relevant,”
About a week ago it was revealed that Modest Mouse planned on releasing their first new song in 4 years - “Poison the Well” - on Record Store Day (April 13th) on a triangular mint-green 7-inch back with another unreleased track on the B-side.
At the time - all we had was an audio recording of the song from a live show. Yesterday though - the band officially released the song in digital formats.
Modest Mouse fans will be happy to hear the song's full of the group’s trademark jerky indie sound ... and Isaac Brock's quirky angsty lyrics... like: “Medicine makers they are trying to kill us/ They know how to cure us, but they bet that’s bad for business now.”
It's been a Fleetwood Mac kinda week ... We jammed with them on Sunday night at their show in Baltimore and now we have an official video for Lissie's cover of their classic song Dreams- from the forthcoming album, When I'm Alone: The Piano Retrospective, in stores April 5th!
NME raves: “Without much fuss, Elisabeth Corrin Maurus has quietly become one of the most vital vocalists around”
It's been quite week for Jenny Lewis ... she had an amazingly pastel performance on Kimmel. she released her 4th album 'On the Line', and now we have an amaizing video for the album's fist single, Red Bull & Hennessy. You can check it out below ...
The video was directed and edited by Eric Notarnicola (Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, Nathan For You, Who Is America?), the video is taken from the wonderfully surrealistic and hilarious “On The Line Online — The Three Hour Listening Party & Fundraiser” that raised over $10,000 for the Los Angeles Downtown Women’s Center back in February. Featuring many, many special guest appearances!
Cage the Elephant have released the 2nd track from their upcoming 5th studio album, Social Cues (due out April19th)
The song - Night Running features their upcoming tourmate Beck. “Night Running is Featured In the Soundtrack for Sony Playstation’s Annual Baseball Game Release, MLB The Show 19 ... so it makes sense that they released it today - Major League Baseball's Opening Day ...
Cage The Elephant and Beck Have Partnered Up with Plus1 and $1 From Every Ticket Sold Will Be Donated Back Into Each City They are Playing In, Supporting Local Food Security Initiatives As They Work Towards Ending Hunger In Their Communities!
In an emotional letter to fans, Everclear singer Art Alexakis has revealed that he’s been diagnosed with a form of multiple sclerosis. In the letter, Alexakis admits he was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS) several years ago following a car accident, but doctors think he’s had it for “anywhere between 10 to 20 years.” Read the full letter below.
The Santa Monica singer isn't letting this dianosis slow him down. He plans to release his first solo album, Sun Songs, in the “early summer” and he plans to head out on a solo tour behind it in May. He also plans to “finally start writing” a book about his life.
Go ahead Art!
I want to tell you something about me that you might not know…
Three years ago I was in an automobile accident, and though I totaled my car, I am thankful that no one involved was seriously hurt. About two weeks later, I started feeling a tingle and numbness in my arm, thinking it was a pinched nerve in my neck, I went to the doctor and underwent an MRI. The report showed that I did indeed have a pinched nerve, but the pathologist also saw lacerations and suspicious marks on my spinal cord as well…scary, to say the least. I was sent to see a neurologist, who did a ridiculous number of tests - more MRI’s, a spinal tap, over fifty blood tests, and numerous cognitive and balance tests. After receiving the results, he told me that I have a form of Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS), and that I have had it for anywhere between 10 to 20 years. I went and sat in my car and called my wife, and cried for about half an hour. I’m sure people in the parking lot thought I was losing it, and I guess I kind of was.
The words Multiple Sclerosis conjure up all sorts of images: helplessness, wheel chairs, pain, misery, and worst of all, hopelessness - and pity in the eyes of my family and friends (you get the picture). I remember later that night my wife Vanessa holding my face in her hands, and telling me “we got this”, with not a shred of pity or fear in her eyes. I knew then that I wasn’t going to go through this alone. My wife is a lot of things - all good, but one thing she isn’t is fake, something we have in common. We don’t do fake in our family. My wife is a bad ass, and she reminded me in that moment, that so am I.
The more I found out about MS, the more a lot of things started making sense. It explains why I have had balance and gait problems for the last ten years, it helps explain why I have had a higher sensitivity to heat and cold, and why I don’t have the energy, vigor, and razor sharp memory that I had ten years ago. I thought it was just me getting older.
It’s been almost three years since that diagnosis, and MS has become another part of my life. I have done amazing things in that time - touring four full tours with Everclear, in addition to another 250 plus shows all around the world, and I’m still going strong. I have spent precious time with my family and friends; we bought a house that we love last year, and I have learned what the word gratitude really means.
All that said, I can feel the disease slowly growing in me. I now have to give myself injections three times a week. My neurologist says as long as I stay on the medication, I should live into my 80’s without progression. We shall see.
One of the reasons I wanted to be more public about my disease is that I have been hearing a lot of people say that I am drinking again or back on drugs because they have seen me look unsteady on stage or around town (people say all sorts of nasty things when they don’t think you can hear them). To be honest, I have never cared about what people say about me personally - except, that is, for the people that I care about (ie..YOU) and what they think. I wanted you to know the truth, simple as that.
Going forward, I am finishing up my 1st solo album “Sun Songs”, which will be out early summer. On May 1st I’m embarking on a solo tour called “Songs and Stories”, joined by three other singer-songwriters that I respect and admire. And this summer I will finally start writing the book people have been telling me to write for the last 20 years…I think it’s about time!
So, if you see me stumbling...sweaty, looking both tired and anxious at the same time, maybe a little more confused than usual, or forgetting lyrics yet looking happy (which is weird for me), please know that I have not fallen off the wagon. I am just learning how to be the new me.
Maggie Rogers's star has landed ... before she even played two sold out shows at DC's famed 930 club (see pictures from 3/25/19 here) she announced she'll be back in the fall to play the 6000 person capacity venue - The Anthem (tickets on sale 3/29 @ 10a) ... Fans were so excited about the new show - they had an impromptu presale for The Anthem Show at the 930 Club on 3/26!
Maggie controlled the 930 Club stage 2 straight nights ... leading the crowd in what turned into a 2 hour sing a long each night - as proved in the videos below. I mean ... she even covered a Taylor Swift Song ... could this be foreshadowing that Maggie will be the next T-Swizz ???
After Monday's show, Maggie took to twitter and remarked:
“Last night was a hometown dream. Friends from growing up, middle school, high school, family, parents of friends, fans i had met + cried w after our last dc show”
Here's the set list from her shows followed by some fan shot videos ... Maggie - keep shining ... and please dont forget us !

Not sure whether to think that 4 musicians were “so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should” or if they have created the best mashup band of all time... Without even hearing it ... we're going with the later :) ...
But Alex Glover (Guitar/Vocals), Josh Knowles (Electric Violin/Vocals), Derek Dupuis (Organ/Keys), Pat Pingeton (Bass) and Deven Massarone (Drums) from Boston have formed the band Weird Phishes (with the name coming from Radiohead’s In Rainbows track “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi)
According to the band’s Facebook page - Weird Phishes is exactly what it sounds like - the iconic melancholy rock songs of Radiohead completely reborn as danceable, crunchy jams.
They’ve only played 2 shows so far - The latest being last week (March 22) at Thunder Road Music Club in Somerville, MA.
The show featured two full sets of Radiohead in the style of Phish:
Set 1: "OK Computer"
Set 2: Radiohead hits + deep cuts reworked and intertwined with Phish tunes + more
We can’t find much more about the band … other than fans of both bands seem to like the concept
Please don't stop this.. Never thought anyone would combine my two favorite bands in the world, as they are so different from one another! I hope to someday see you guys.
Please come to Milwaukee WI!
We fell in love with Guster's Overexcited the moment we heard it ... then, at our Meals with Musicians with them at Level in Annapolis, we learned just how much went into the song .. you see - the band is from Medford, Massachusetts and Ryan sings the song in a British accent ... but they didn't just wing it in the studio. They actually brought in a producer from England that made sure that his accent was accurate!
Earlier this month - we got the coolest promo item from the band - some Guster hot chocolate - a nod to a line from the song Overexcited
Then - this week - the band released an extended version of the song - that the FCC would find just a little to explicit for us to play on air - but check out the lyric video below.
From the band:
Did you know we cut a minute and a half off the original version right before it went on the album? It was a good choice! But now we’ve got a “lyric video” for the extended, explicit, original version. Apple, Spotify, Amazon, Soundcloud, or the cool YouTube lyric video, but don’t let your kids check it out because there's cussing...
Move over Frank Zappa - there's another rock n roll hologram tour coming this year ... its been announced that holograms of Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly are going on tour together. The Rock ‘N’ Roll Dream Tour, which (according to Rolling Stone) will run through North America and Europe at the same time because holograms can be wherever they want whenever they want.
The singers though WILL be accompanied by a live backing band.
So far - we only have seen UK dates tough - see below ...
In a statement, Roy Orbison Jr said:
My father’s music meant the world to not just us Orbison’s but to millions of fans worldwide. Being able to reopen his legendary songbook and again hear his voice bounce off great concert hall walls is both a transcendent and cathartic experience. Dad jammed with Buddy in Lubbock Texas and helped change music history by turning Buddy on to Norman Petty Studios; Buddy later returned the favor by recording two of Dad’s songs on his first Cricket’s album. How beyond cool and special that these two great friends, now get to tour the world together.
And Buddy Holly’s wife Maria Elena said:
Buddy and Roy were Texans who shared a mutual respect and admiration for each other’s creative musical genius and brilliant songwriting abilities. I am proud to work with a company like BASE Hologram. Their long-time fans and a new generation of fans will now have the opportunity to see these great legends perform together in a unique setting, showcasing two of the finest, most influential, and beloved artists in music history.

Vampire Weekend are warming up for their US tour by rehersing over in London. Oh - did we mention - they invited fans to some of these "rehersals"?
Fans were treated over the weekend to early morning shows, the first live rendition of their new Father Of The Bride single “Big Blue”, a new cover of Paul Simon’s One-Trick Pony cut “Late In The Evening” (among other covers of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m Goin’ Down” and Fleetwood Mac’s “Everywhere”). Fans also got to hear A-Punk three times ... I mean it is rehersal - right?
Check out some fan footage below:

Fans of ther HBO show 'Game of Thrones' have been waiting for over a year for the final season of the show to begin ... and even longer for the final book (is that still even on the table at this point?)
And while the final season's premeire is still a few weeks away, the folks over at HBO don't want us sitting by idley ... they have set up an epic challenge ... a global scavenger hunt giving fans the chance to claim the Iron Throne.
Via ForTheThrone.com, HBO asks: "For seven seasons you’ve watched characters lie, bleed, and sacrifice for the Iron Throne. As the final season approaches, only one question remains: How far will you go?"
I gues they are hoping pretty far ... the network has supposedly hidden six full-size replicas of the show's Iron Throne around the world - only offering a series of hour-long, 360-degree videos of the things at various times of day.
Somehow - some way ... some crafty fans have found four of the thrones—in Spain, Sweden, Brazil, and the UK ... rumors are that the remaining two are in Canada and the US.
So grab your direwolf and dragon and get searching ... or just sit around binge watching old seasons until April 21st
Here's some images of the thrones that have been found:
Dexter Fletcher received high praise for his Queen biopic - Bohemian Rhapsody - but was criticized for skimming over Freddie Mercry's addictions and sexuality.
Fletcher's next project - Rocketman, which will be more of a musical than a typical bipoic - won't have that problem. According to star Taron Egerton, the film will be an honest depiction of John's life.
The film will dive into all of Elton John’s addictions. After a screening of the film last week, NME’s Olly Richards wrote:
“In one scene, looking rather worse for wear, John says, ‘I’m an alcoholic, sex addict and probably a shopaholic.’ Egerton adds that the film begins with John entering rehab, then the film unfolds as he tells of how he ended up so broken.”
The film is due out May 31, 2019 - but you can check out the trailer below:
Vans are following up their limited edition Led Zeppelin with another musical collaboration – this time they’ll pay tribute to David Bowie with four new limited sneakers. Vans’ Slip-On 47 V DX, Era, Old Skool, and Sk8-Hi models will be transformed ala Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust, and Aladdin Sane with faux fur and yellow suede, polka dots, the classic red and blue thunderbolt decal, and more.
The Vans x David Bowie collection is expected be available on April 5 via the Vans’ web store and other affiliated retailers.
Jenny Lewis' new album - On The Line is out now - and her pastelrific promo tour stopped by the Jimmy Kimmel Show - where she performed two songs - Red Bull & Hennessy and Wasted Youth. Check out Jenny in all her sparkly goodness below and get your tickets to see her at The Anthem on September 5th
Tame Impala - the Australian psychedelic music project led by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker, have been booked on some of the top festivals this summer - including headlining slots at Coachella and Lollapalooza... the group will also perform on Saturday Night Live on March 30th. We now know that they will be hitting the road with new music.
This week, the band released the song “Patience” (listen below).
This is the first new music Tame Impala have released since their 2015 LP Currents and its companion B-Sides & Remixes EP.
Hopefully this is just the first track from a proper release ->
OK - so today we learned three things - the TV franchise 'The Voice' started in the Netherlands ... AND ... in addition to the US version - there's episodes airing all over the world - including 30 versions of The Voice Kids ... AND ... on The Voice Kids Germany - two small girls sang “Creep” for their blind audition like it belonged to them.
The two girls, Mimi and Josefin, performed the song a month ago and somehow we just found it (10 million views later) ... not only did they perform it - they nailed it ... I hope they went on to win the whole competion ...
This week has provided good news for people who like good news about Modest Mouse ... First - we learned that they will hit the road this year supporting The Black Keys on their Let's Rock Tour (the two bands play The Anthem on October 12)
The new single (their first in 4 years) is called Poison the Well. They will release it digitally the song on 3/29 ... and also be pressed on limited-edition “triangular mint-green” vinyl, b/w another new song, for Record Store Day (April 13th).
The band has been playing the song live recently and you can listen to a soundboard recording below.

The Cure are celebrating 40 years of performing and recording in the music industry... and during a recent appearance on The John Maytham Show, frontman Robert Smith discussed the band's recent run of shows and confirmed that they have finished their highly anticipated follow-up to 2008’s 4:13_Dream (!!)
“We’ve enjoyed [the shows] and we’ve just recorded a new album for the first time in 10 years ... I’m still doing this for the right reasons ... We cover different styles of music, but because it’s us doing it, it sounds like us.”
Hopefully - the new record will be accompanied by a tour with US dates ... until then - enjoy this video from their 2016 performance at Merriweather Post Pavilion
We fell in love with Jade Bird last winter when she came through for a Private Artist Showcase fresh off the heels of WOWing the entire city of Austin at SXSW.
Last week, while on tour in support of Hozier, Jade Bird dropped before their sold out show in Baltimore ad and graced us with a 3 song in studio performance - including this version of the angsty anthem - Uh Huh:
Jack White has revealed a unique method of mixing records ... and it shows that he wants to put the best product out for us - the fans.
You see - once the song has been recorded - the band heads out to a car - where the song is broadcast from the studio via a low wat FM transmitter ... that way - the band can hear the song through radio speakers - how we hear it - and make adjustments on the fly. Check out the message from the band's Instagram:
Jack White shows us a technique he developed for doing master mixes. The Raconteurs are mixing their new album with Vance Powell at Sputnik Sound.
One of their new songs “Shine The Light On Me" is broadcast with an FM transmitter from inside the studio. Outside in the car park, the band listens to the broadcast on an unused FM frequency. ( the broadcaster only sends a small powered signal about a distance of a hundred feet or so ) The band uses a walkie talkie to give notes on the mix to the engineer ( Vance ) back in the control room. This way the artist can mix in real time, and hear exactly
what the song sounds like on the radio as well, this time through the amazing sound system of a Tesla Model S. This speeds up the process of mixing greatly and reduces the amount of remixes that occur after artists feel they’ve “got it” in the studio, only to listen in the car on the ride home realizing that the kick drum is too loud!
Last week marked the 25th Anniversary of Nine Inch Nails releasing their now classic album- The Downward Spiral. The album contained the song which was famously covered by Johnny Cash ...
Well - this past weekend - Mumford and Sons busted out a cover version of their own - in Trent Reznor’s hometown of Cleveland!
Check out the video below ... and hope that Mumford come back soon with their new tour mates - Portugal. The Man :)
But now we have info on their first show in 8 years ... they'll headline a festival commemorating the 10-year anniversary of Jack White’s Third Man Records label on April 6th in Nashville. Other acts on the bill include: Lillie Mae, Craig Brown Band, Teddy & The Rough Riders, The Dirtbombs, The Gories, Detroit Cobras, Quintron & Miss Pussycat, Soledad Brothers and Todd Albright.
According to the press release - the band will be "fresh out of the studio" - so maybe the record will be done around then?
In what sounds like something that The Onion or Hard Times would write about ... the merits of the often criticized yet widely successful (they did sell 50 million albums worldwide) Nickleback caused quite the stir on the Congressional floor this week ...
During a House hearing about HR1, the House Democrats’ election reform bill aimed at expanding voting rights and eliminating the influence of money in politics, somehow the topic switched to the Canadian Rockers ... pretty weired - eh?
Democratic Representative Mark Pocan started things by saying:
“In 2016, when the census asked for comment on this, 77,000 people did comment and only four wanted to keep this provision. That’s probably about the percent of people who think Nickelback is their favorite band in this country. It’s pretty low,”
To which Republican Representative Rodney Davis responded:
“Why would you criticize one of the greatest bands of the ’90s? I know my colleague from Wisconsin didn’t mean to offend the many thousands upon thousands of Nickelback fans. I actually do have a Nickelback song on my running playlist that I listen to on a regular basis and was ridiculed by that when I posted my playlist one time and I know some in this chamber even up on the dais are laughing about that.”
Think this is a joke - don't worry - there's video :)
Rodney Davis actually kept talking about his love of Nickelback for another 40 seconds or so when it was his turn to speak again. pic.twitter.com/PQQERt9d6S
You already know that Local Natives are touring this summer - including two nights at the 930 Club in DC - right? Just in case you need a reminder - they play June 3rd (tix) and June 4th (tix)
Well - now we know that they'll be touring to support a new album ... the LA Band annoucned their fourth studio album, Violet Street, which comes out April 26. They have also shared two new singles and videos from the record, titled “When Am I Gonna Lose You” and “Café Amarillo.”
Earlier this week we were tipped off that some of the headliners (The Killers, Chance the Rapper, Imagine Dragons, Dead and Company and Santana ) for Woodstock 50 - the multi-day event in Watkins Glen, New York from August 16th-18th, 2019- had been confirmed since they had been paid already ...
Well - now more of the line up has been leaked ... and if true - HOLY SH*T this is a great line up:
Accoding to Variety - JAY-Z, The Black Keys, Miley Cyrus, Greta Van Fleet, Robert Plant, Cage the Elephant, Janelle Monáe, The Raconteurs, Sturgill Simpson, Brandi Carlile, Courtney Barnett, Run the Jewels, Portugal. the Man, The Lumineers, Gary Clark Jr., Halsey, Dawes, Pussy Riot, Margo Price, and Bishop Briggs will all take the stage at the Watkins Glen International Speedway in August
The official lineup is expected in the coming weeks .... can . not . wait.
It's been noted that Lissie has a voice eerily similar to Stevie Nicks - and she is showing off why on her latest cover of Fleetwood Mac'sDreams.
The song will appear on Lissie's new album When I'm Alone: The Piano Retrospective, due out April 5 - and will feature piano interpretations of her own songs, plus some additional covers.
This isnt the first time Lissie has given her interpretation to a Fleetwood Mac song - hear a previous cover of Go Your Own Way below as well.
It's been FIVE years since we had new music from Patrick Carney and Dan Auerbach collectively as The Black Keys ... it's not that they haven't been busy - Auerbach has been off releasing albums with The Arcs and solo, as well as launching his Easy Eye Sound label. Meanwhile, drummer Patrick Carney has dipped into producing for artists including Tobias Jesso Jr., Tennis, Wild Belle, and Turbo Fruits, not to mention penning the BoJack Horseman theme and starting a family with Michelle Branch.
But today - the duo are back a new single called “Lo/Hi” ... no word yet as to whether this song is a one off or a single from a full album - but let's just enjoy this great song for the time being
Lucie Silvas has been making music for 15 years - but her latest album - E.G.O. caught our ears last summer - and we loved it so much - we had her perform on the final Rock N River Cruise of 2018.
Lucie's back with a new single - Black Jeans - and has a message in the new video for the lush and retro-flavored pop single - 'just be yourself' ... check out the video below
"It's just a girl at home, obviously, in hair rollers and a vintage-style nightgown, a bit of a throwback. I appear in a blond wig, trying out a bunch of different persona, and it comes back to that very simple thing in the end, just being myself and being casual …even my mum used to say, 'Why don't you wear sparkly outfits onstage?' I don't want to wear sparkly outfits. This isn't Dancing With the Stars; it's me going out there and singing my songs. So this [video] is a way for me to say I can be dressed up or plain. I just want to wear what I'm wearing, and I don't care how I'm received. That's what the song is about."
c. Track 5 will is titled Big Blue and track 12 is called Sunflower
If you've been paying attention - we've been telling you about Ezra's new appreciation for the Grateful Dead - and it shows in these 2 new tracks ... take a listen and see if you agree.

Fans of the Jonas Brothers rejoiced when their beloved band made a surprise return to music last week (Feb 28) with a new song called Sucker. The song became an instant hit, with over 50 million youtube views and 20+ million streams.
The only thing is - the song sounds exactly like another (much better) song that came out a few years ago - Portugal. The Man'sFeel It Still. And now Portugal. The Man are accusing the band of brios of ripping them off. They've been retweeting their fans twitter accusations and even tweeted themselves:
"To be fair, the chorus of Feel It Still sounds very similar to Please Mister Postman by the Marvellettes... Which we respectfully cleared and thanked them for every chance we got. As one does. @jonasbrothers"
And now - someone has taken the time to line up both songs together so you can hear the similarities ... take a listen below ... what do you think - did the Jonas Brothers rip off Portugal. The Man?

Original Woodstock co-founder Michael Lang is celebrating the festivals' 50th anniversary with another multi day event in Watkins Glen, NY - Woodstock 50. There has recently been some speculation as to the fesival's legitimacy ... due to the fact that it is a first year event, being put on by an independant promoter (Lang himself) and he isn't working with a big time producer like AEG or Live Nation ... and after what happened with Fyre Fest - people's specualtions are warrented ...
But - an article in Billboard magazine concerning the festivals financial backing has confirmed that The Killers, Chance the Rapper, Imagine Dragons, Dead and Company and Santana have all been confirmed to perform in Watkins Glenn. The confirmation was made becuase the bands have already been paid in full.
From the article:
Because the event is not being put on by a major promoter like Live Nation or AEG, most major agencies consider it to be riskier than events like Coachella and Bonnaroo, and required Lang and Densu to pay 100 percent of the artist payments upfront before the lineup was announced. While reps for some of the major headliners tell Billboard they were paid in full weeks ago, other artists had not been paid by last Friday, raising red flags with major agencies who expected the lineup to be announced in February and are now seeing it pushed into March.
On Monday (March 4), following reports that the event was having financial issues, representatives for Woodstock confirmed that organizers had wired several million dollars to several major talent agencies representing acts playing Woodstock 50, and one agency boss confirmed to Billboard that, as of Monday evening, their artists had all been paid in full. A source also confirmed to Billboard that festival organizer Superfly, which is handling the logistics of the massive camping festival, had also received full payment.
“There’s always been lots of rumors around Woodstock,” Lang said in a statement to Billboard. “We have excellent partners and an incredible talent lineup of over 80 artists which will be announced within the next couple of weeks. We’re preparing a once in a lifetime event.”
Now we just wait for the rest of the lineup
