This week has provided good news for people who like good news about Modest Mouse ... First - we learned that they will hit the road this year supporting The Black Keys on their Let's Rock Tour (the two bands play The Anthem on October 12) 

 

And now we learned that they will be releasing a new single on March 29 (the same day tickets for their show at The Anthem go on sale!) 

 

The new single (their first in 4 years) is called Poison the Well.  They will release it digitally the song on 3/29 ... and also be pressed on limited-edition “triangular mint-green” vinyl, b/w another new song, for Record Store Day (April 13th).
