Canines and Crosstreks - SPCA Adoptable Pet Profiles Archives for 2020-09

Canines & Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week - Luna (Boxer) & Pooh (Yorkie)

It's National Dog Week - making our featured pups on the Annapolis Subaru Canines and Crosstrek Adoption Report from the SPCA of Anne Arundel County especially adoptable!

First we have Luna - a two year old boxer who is the full package!

First off - Luna, a sweet girl who is all tail wags and wet kisses.  And she has a  beautiful brindle coat with fantastic markings.

Luna loves to be around people and walks well on a leash. She is dog friendly and treat motivated. She doesn't jump up even when she's excited... We told you she's the full package.

Next we have Pooh - a 4 year old Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie) who is a total sweetie pie.

Pooh is not only a sweet guy - he is also quite handsome as you can see from his modeling shoot.  Why not make an appointment with the SPCA of Anne Arundel County to meet Mr.  Pooh!

With Gov. Hogan announcing Maryland will be entering Phase 3 of Maryland StrongRoadmap to Recovery - Anne Arundel County has not - so the shelter is going to be making adjustments to their visitation policies as they are able.  So if you are interested in adopting Luna or Poohthis week's Annapolis Subaru Canines and Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week (or one of the other 600 animals the SPCA of Anne Arundel County is housing)  - please call (410-268-4388 ) or email adoptions@aacspca.org for info.  PLEASE We ask you be patient ... operations at the shelter are moving a little slower than normal right now.

Finally ... you know the phrase 'adopt don't shop' when it comes to pets?  Well - the SPCA of Anne Arundel County's made it possible to adopt while you shop - with their brand new adoption center in the Annapolis Mall!   Paws at the Mall is the new home to adoptable cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and hamsters ... plus they have some small pups that visit (plus a merch stand and a bakery with dog and cat treats)  ... So next time you're in the mall - be sure to stop by and check it out .. and maybe even adopt a new friend!

Current hours  are 11-5 Monday -Saturday and 12-5 on Sundays - with a full calendar of events - including Petiquette classes - aimed at teaching children ages 5-8, about pet care and needs, understanding animal body language, pet safety, and more!

Canines & Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week - Bay Bay (Fox Terrier) & Max (American Bulldog)

This week's Annapolis Subaru Canines and Crosstrek Adoption - not only features adorable pups of all sizes from SPCA of Anne Arundel County who are eagerly looking for a furever home

First we have Bay Bay - an adorable tiny 8 month old fox terrier with a quirky attitude

Bay Bay did arrive at the shelter with a friend, Remmy - but they have a love hate relationship - like most siblings - no it isn't necessary that they are adopted as a pair - but it would be nice ...  Bay Bay does get along with other dogs - but would be best suited in a home without little children due to his terrier tendencies (aka he's a little high energy)

Next we have Max - a 7 year old American Bulldog

Max is a 'big boned' pup - tipping the scales at 90 lbs - but this strong and happy boy loves to be around people and enjoys making new friends ... so why not come meet him at the SPCA of Anne Arundel County!

With Gov. Hogan announcing Maryland will be entering Phase 3 of Maryland StrongRoadmap to Recovery - Anne Arundel County has not - so the shelter is going to be making adjustments to their visitation policies as they are able.  So if you are interested in adopting Bay Bay or Maxthis week's Annapolis Subaru Canines and Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week (or one of the other 600 animals the SPCA of Anne Arundel County is housing)  - please call (410-268-4388 ) or email adoptions@aacspca.org for info.  PLEASE We ask you be patient ... operations at the shelter are moving a little slower than normal right now.

Finally ... you may have heard already - but The SPCA of Anne Arundel County's opened a brand new adoption center in the Annapolis Mall!   Paws at the Mall is the new home to adoptable cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and hamsters ... plus they have some small pups that visit (plus a merch stand and a bakery with dog and cat treats)  ... First we have Benji - a 2 year old Shih Tzu/Maltese who's comin' in hot

Poor Roco- he is so sad to be at the SPCA of Anne Arundel County

He may be sad now - but a good loving home would make Roco a happy boy!
