First we have Buddy - a shy 8 year old long haired Chihuahua - who is ALL smiles!
Buddy is shy after some 'ruff' experiences at his last home. It might take Buddy a while for him to show interest in new people but once he does, his true personality shines.
Buddy's adopters will need to take things at Buddy's pace and to have realistic expectations
But we think good things come to those who have the patience and love Buddy deserves
Next we have Athena - a 1 year old Shepherd Hound
Athena is a gorgeous gal that had to be surrendered because her owners were too elderly and weren't able to give this goddess the active lifestyle she needs. If you are looking for a companion on hikes and jogs then Athena is a dog you should consider giving a loving home.not only a sweet guy - he is also quite handsome as you can see from his modeling shoot. With Gov. Hogan announcing Maryland will be entering Phase 3 of Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery - Anne Arundel County has not - so the shelter is going to be making adjustments to their visitation policies as they are able. Holy Cow - Hard to believe it is October and we are less than 2 months from Lights on the Bay (not even 2020 could cancel this holiday tradition! The 2 miles of holiday displays in Sandy point state park runs November 20 through January 1 and is the perfect event for proper social distancing!
