Kane is a 4.5 year old miniature Pug / Dachshund mix who is not made for shelter life.  He much rather prefers chilling on the couch or playing tug of war in the comfort of a home.  He doesn't mind doggie brothers and sisters - but cats are not for him.  He might be a little shy at first - but once he trusts you - the snuggles are nonstop!

This week's Canines and Crosstreks Adoptable Pet of the Week from the SPCA of Anne Arundel County sponsored by Annapolis Subaru is a super senior who is a pup at heart 

Rocky is one super senior. He may be 12 years old but he is still just a big pup at heart! Rocky loves to play with his toys and he enjoys going for walks. He may be a bit slower and stiffer these day but he is still quite spry- he will even hop up into chairs and onto his big dog bed. We know he'd love lounging on a couch at home. Rocky found himself back here at the shelter after his owner passed away, and it's clear he misses being a BFF. Rocky walks well on a leash and he is 100% housetrained. He truly has a heart of gold and we would love to see him back in a forever home where he belongs.

He seems to warm up to people very quickly and seems to be on a case by case basis with dogs. Lucky is 9 year old hairless Xoloitzcuintli mix.

Lucky is an adorable little dog who is learning how to show love to people. He enjoys car rides and exploring. He especially loves getting butt scratches and since he is hairless he likes to show off in different outfits and sweaters! Lucky enjoys playing ball and chasing after toys. And after a few meetings - he'll be your cuddle buddy for life.
