Canines and Crosstreks - SPCA Adoptable Pet Profiles Archives for 2020-08

Canines & Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week - Mu

This week we've got pups of all sizes from the SPCA of Anne Arundel County featured in the Annapolis Subaru Canines and Crosstrek Adoption report.

Up first - the petite Maltese - Muñeca  -

Muñeca - spanish for doll - is just that ... look how cute .. but unfortunately her humans recently passed away - so she ended up at the SPCA of Anne Arundel County

That said - Muñeca's perfect doll house would be a quiet and stable home where she can be the queen. Are you ready to give this doll the glamorous lifestyle she deserves ?!

Next we have another Cane Corso- one year old Maybak.

Maybak's a big, goofy boy with a joyful attitude and plenty of spunk! Maybak needs a strong, experienced owner due to his XL size. If you are looking for a loving and loyal companion to make you laugh every day, then Maybak may be just the dog for you!

Just a reminder - the shelter is able to have viewings and adoptions BUT by appointment only.  So if you are interested in adopting Maybak or Muñeca this week's Annapolis Subaru Canines and Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week (or one of the other 600 animals the SPCA of Anne Arundel County is housing)  - please call (410-268-4388 ) or email adoptions@aacspca.org for info.  PLEASE We ask you be patient ... operations at the shelter are moving a little slower than normal right now.

Already have enough pups in the house? You can still help the SPCA of Anne Arundel County operate as a non kill shelter with their  #TakeThePlungeChallenge!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

POST: Post a picture or video of your pet plunging in the water (plunging could be jumping into a pool, swimming at the beach or splashing in the tub) - just show how your pets are celebrating a cool summer)

Canines & Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week - Max (Bichon Frise), Blue Bell & Charlie (Twin Cane Corsos)

This week we're back to having a trio of pups from the SPCA of Anne Arundel County  in the Annapolis Subaru Canines and Crosstrek Adoption report.  And from their profile pictures - these pups look ready to smother you with doggy kisses!

Up first - Bichon Frise - Max -

Max is a senior pup (12 years) who is full of love and loves to talk .. and has been known to raise his voice from time to time.  Maybe it is because he is French?

That said -  Max - apartment / condo living might not be the best place for him to live ... at least in your neighbor's mind :)

Aside from normal senior health car needed -  Max is full of love and wants to come teach you French (apparently he is fluent - but you have to speak dog to understand him)

Next up - a set of twin Cane Corsos - Blue Bell and Charlie.

Charlie and Blue Bell both have a gorgeous blue grey coat.

(Charlie)

Both girls weigh close to 100lbs and have so much love to share. Charlie and Blue are both very sweet and very social.  It would be great to keep these sisters together!

Canines & Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week - Kylo Jace (Wirehaired Pointing Griffon) & Bruce Kuma (Terrier / Pit Bull)

This week the SPCA of Anne Arundel County is featuring two pups who are too cute to have one name in the Annapolis Subaru Canines and Crosstrek Adoption report.

Up first - Wirehaired Pointing GriffonKylo Jace -

We can't go any further in talking about Kylo Jace without acknowledging his adorable markings ... the matching brown tail and legs are too much!

But poor Kylo Jace - things haven't been easy for this guy ... so he is a little timid and skittish.   He can be fearful of strangers and would do best in a home with no children.

Hopefully Kylo's time in the SPCA of Anne Arundel County's Canine Training Program will help bring him out of his shell - but he'll still need to go home with an experienced dog owner committed to being patient with him and giving him the training he needs. Ownership experience with behavior issue dogs is also a must.

Next up - another pup with some great markings - meet Bruce Kuma - a 5  year old pit bull terrier.

Bruce Kuma's coat is mostly black - with some cool splashes of brindle color throughout his face and legs

Bruce is affectionate and loves to give passionate kisses. He is treat motivated and quite manageable on walks - although a little curious still  ...  Otherwise, he is just a big lover seeking some belly rubs and a good game of tug of war.

Canines & Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week - Emmy (American Pit Bull) & Angel (Short Coat Chihuahua)

This week the SPCA of Anne Arundel County is featuring a pair of pups who are each pretty and petite - in the Annapolis Subaru Canines and Crosstrek Adoption report.

Up first - American Pit Bull - Emmy -    ...

Emmy found herself in need of a new home after her family moved to a community where she wasn't welcome.  How rude!  Pit Bulls are so often unfairly the victims of breed discrimination .

But Emmy is a sweetheart who previously lived happily with children and other dogs in the past.  Everyone who meets Emmy falls in love instantly.  Maybe it's all the kisses she gives ;)

Emmy is small in stature but has a big heart.  She has a gorgeous brindle coat and would make a great addition to your family.

Next - meet Angel - a 9 year old short haired Chihuahua -

Angel's new to the shelter and still a little timid.  But the more time she spends with the staff - the more she is opening up

Angel would do best in a home with no other pets and no kids - as she does display some of the he complex characteristics of her breed, particularly when stressed ... so her new family would preferably have past experience with Chihuahuas

Just a reminder - the shelter is able to have viewings and adoptions BUT by appointment only.  So if you are interested in adopting Emmy or Angel, this week's Canines and Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week (or one of the other 600 animals the SPCA of Anne Arundel County is housing)  - please call (410-268-4388 ) or email adoptions@aacspca.org for info.  PLEASE We ask you be patient ... operations at the shelter are moving a little slower than normal right now.
