But it isn't just about the beer at The Brass Tap - they also offer some amazing food! The sliders (try the Korean BBQ Pork), pretzel bits (perfect to pair with a beer), and burgers are all excellent ... but the Cheesy Jalepeno Corn Dip is the perfect summer appetizer!

WRNR's Restaurant of the Week - Julep Southern Kitchen & Bar

When word got out that Bob from The Hideaway in Odenton was opening Julep: Southern Bar and Kitchen in Annapolis ... we could not wait for the opening ... and since it opened in December - we've been hooked.

Seriously - there isn't one dish that disappoints - from the fried green tomatoes - to the shrimp and grits, everything is stick to your ribs delicious (oh - by the way - the BBQ ribs are pretty amazing too).

Add in a rotating draft beer list and craft cocktails - and you've almost got a perfect night out ..but of course you cannot forget dessert  ... the Key Lime Pie is phenomenal.

And with their expanded outdoor dining area - you need to get to Julep ASAP! We bet you'll be hooked too!

Rob Timm caught up with Chef Bob to discuss the happenings at Julep - including some new customer inspired menu items:

WRNR's Restaurant of the Week - Boatyard Bar & Grill

When the Boatyard Bar & Grill (400 Fourth St ) in Eastport says they have the BEST crab cake around, they aren't just telling tall tales (you get enough of those from the fishermen at the bar)  ... they have the awards to support it - with accolades from National Publications (Southern Living Magazine said they have the best crab cake sandwich you'll ever eat) and more importantly local publications give them the nod too - like the Baltimore Sun naming Chef George's crab cake their 2019 best of.  We don't think it hurts that its a mountain of lump meat as big as your face !

But the crab cakes aren't the only thing worth coming to the "Nautical Cheers" for -the Raw Bar, Fish Tacos, Crab Soup, Gumbo, and Lobster Rolls are all out of this world too!  Plus - you never know what daily specials Chef George will whip up !

Speaking of Chef George - Rob Timm had the chance to speak with him about all the goings on at 4th and Severn:

And for now - they have expanded their outdoor seating - with a big top tent decked out with some signature Franyo Style!

Boatyard Bar & Grill is located at 400 Fourth St Annapolis MD 21403

Hours: Monday - Friday - 11a - 10p || Saturday and Sunday - 8a-10p.

WRNR's Restaurant of the Week - Level - A Small Plate Lounge

Level - A Small Plate Lounge - is one of the crown jewels of the Annapolis dining scene.  Whether you are looking for a full dinner (maybe the sous vide flank steak), a few tapas items (do not skip the fried Brussels sprouts) or just a cocktail (like the famous Level gimlet)  - Level can satiate your cravings.

And if you haven't been to Level since before the shutdown (or maybe you've never been at all) - now is the perfect time to come dine at 69 West St.  In addition to the new outdoor seating - they've launched a new menu from executive chef Ryan Zale that focuses heavily on farm to table goodness.

Speaking of new executive chef Ryan Zale - he brings some serious accolades to Annapolis with him ... he was included on Best Chefs America top chefs list and  has been featured on Food Network.  His farm to table approach to cooking has us salivating over what he'll be cooking up this summer with the delicious ingredients the Chesapeake region has to offer!
