The 2017 festival season is upon us, and we couldn't be more excited for it! We're lucky enough to have one of the biggest summer festivals right in our backyard. The Firefly Music Festival in Dover Delaware is taking place from June 15-18 this year, and RNR's got your inside scoop.

WRNR's Official Firefly Correspondent

This year, Maggie Rogers is taking on the title of WRNR's Official Firefly Correspondent, and we couldn't be more excited!

Here's why...

1. She's got local roots. Maggie is a native of Maryalnd, she grew up playing harp and banjo on a farm in Easton. And this means, that unlike many artists who've played Firefly, she actually knows where the hell Dover is!

2. She's insanely talented! Have you heard this girls voice?! It's something pretty spectacular. Enough to impress Pharrell during his Masterclass at NYU's Clive Davis Institute. Have you seen this video? Yeeeah...that was our face when we heard Alaska for the first time too...

Maggie is one of the artists we're most excited to see at Firefly this summer. So we recommend you don't miss out on her set! She'll also be joining Bob and Carrie to provide live festival commentary all weekend long.
