Canines and Crosstreks - Adoptable Pet Profiles

At WRNR, we love rock ‘n roll ... AND ... all things animals ... sure some of us like dogs, some of us are cat people, we think Rob has a pet bearded dragon ... and then of course there's the Ducks of RNR - Sid and Nancy

So in the spirit of our animal admiration - we've partnered with Annapolis Subarau - who is just as committed to finding homes for all the adoptees at the SPCA of Anne Arundel County as we are for the Canines Crosstreks Adoption Reports.  Each week -  we will profile some of the most eligible four legged bachelors and bachelorettes in our listening area  - keep scolling to see their profiles below

Canines and Crosstreks - Adoptable Pets

Due to new restrictions placed by the State of Maryland, the SPCA of Anne Arundel County  is CURRENTLY CLOSED to the public.  But that doesn't mean they have stopped their mission to care for the over 600 animals they are currently sheltering ... like Freya and Sovereign.

This bonded pair are looking for a home together ... Freya is a Golden Doodle (Golden Retriever / Poodle) who loves to be pampered and loved.

Sovereign is a 2 year old Saint Bernard who is calm and confident - and loves to relax with his sister Freya ... he also REALLY loves some belly rubs.

Please call (410-268-4388 ) or email adoptions@aacspca.org for adoption info on Freya and Sovereign

If you aren't in a position to take home a pup now - you can still help out the SPCA of Anne Arundel County - by making a cash donations HERE ... OR ... picking up this spring's fashion must have items - the  Stay at Home Pup or Social Distancing Kittie Shirts ... all proceeds will help the SPCA of Anne Arundel County continue to serve the animals they house.

For 100 years, the SPCA of Anne Arundel County has been helping find homes for adoptable pets in Anne Arundel County and they cannot let the ever evolving COVID-19 situation derail their mission.  Especially when they are still having pets surrendered to them - like this week's Canines and Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week sponsored by Annapolis Subaru

Jake and Frodo are a bonded pair of pals who are both about 2 years old and need a home other than  SPCA of Anne Arundel County

Jake is the boxer and Frodo is the poodle in the pictures.  They are a friendly pair of pooches who would make great companions for your family. Frodo is more outgoing and Jake is his right hand man, so they're ready to make their way into your heart!

While the SPCA is closed to the public - they are still setting up appointments for adoptions.  Please visit www.aacspca.org to learn about our Adoption Process as well as receive updates on their shelter status & policies.

The SPCA of Anne Arundel County is in need of your help now more than ever.  Most of their funding comes from their events - which have all been cancelled or postponed until TFN. If you can help in any way ... donations can still be made at their facility (donations should be dropped off in our designated area outside of the shelter building) and you can get info on how to make financial donations online or via mail HERE
