First we have Lola-Boo- a beautiful 2 year old shepherd mix
Lola Boo and her brother, Bear, found themselves homeless when their family had to move. They are sweet dogs but feeling very shy and timid in the shelter. Spend some time together and their true personalities start to shine through!
Next we have Bandido- an 11 year old long coat Chihuahua / Jack Russell terrier mix
Bandido is spunky little guy .. who kind of looks like a pumpkin! He would make the perfect partner for your Halloween this year! Why not make an appointment with the SPCA of Anne Arundel County to meet Bandido!
With Gov. Hogan announcing Maryland will be entering Phase 3 of Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery - Anne Arundel County has not - so the shelter is going to be making adjustments to their visitation policies as they are able. So if you are interested in adopting Luna or Pooh, this week's Annapolis Subaru Canines and Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week (or one of the other 600 animals the SPCA of Anne Arundel County is housing) - please call (410-268-4388 ) or email adoptions@aacspca.org for info. PLEASE We ask you be patient ... operations at the shelter are moving a little slower than normal right now.
Holy Cow - Hard to believe it is October and we are less than 2 months from Lights on the Bay (not even 2020 could cancel this holiday tradition! The 2 miles of holiday displays in Sandy point state park runs November 20 through January 1 and is the perfect event for proper social distancing!
