Phase I of Maryland's Roadmap to Recovery has been initiated and with that - the SPCA of Anne Arundel County is now able to have animal viewings and adoptions BUT by appointment only. So if you are interested in meeting this week's Canines and Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week (or one of the other 600 animals the SPCA of Anne Arundel County is housing) - please reach out!
Up first - Lila - a 2 year old Terrier / Pitbull mix
Lila is a little shy .. but after some TLC from the staff at the SPCA of Anne Arundel County - she's learning the world is a safe and happy place... especially when you give her some string cheese and meaty treats :)
Lila is young - but probably would adapt best to a home where she is the only dog and no small children.
Next up is another sweet girl - Ellie - an 8 year old Bloodhound.
...Sometimes she gets so excited about it - she even sings about it ... her personal faves seem to be Hound Dog, Hounds of Love, and I Wanna Be Your Dog ;)
She also loves giving big ol' slobbery smooches with that tongue :)
If you are interested in adopting Lila or Ellie - please call (410-268-4388 ) or email adoptions@aacspca.org for info. PLEASE We ask you be patient ... operations at the shelter are moving a little slower than normal right now.
