Canines and Crosstreks - SPCA Adoptable Pet Profiles

Canines & Crosstreks Adoptable Pets of the Week - Rush (Black Mouth Cur) & Maxxi (Retriever/Lab Mix)

Due to new restrictions placed by the State of Maryland, the SPCA of Anne Arundel County  is CURRENTLY CLOSED to the public.  But that doesn't mean you need to take matters into your own hands to adopt an animal !!!

Just last week - someone broke into the SPCA of Anne Arundel County and PUP -NAPPED Maxxi ... while allowing multiple other animals to get out of their kennels.  Thanks to all of YOU - Maxxi was found and is back at the the SPCA of Anne Arundel County - waiting for a PROPER adoption

More on Maxxi - our celebrity pup ... she's only one year old and a retriever / lab mix.  Maxxi's tall and leggy - like a model.  She loves playing with toys,  meeting new people, & giving higs and kisses, - but due to her size and age - her rambunctious play style - she may not be suitable for a home with young children.

Maxxi is new to Annapolis - and we hear she is really looking forward to experiencing her first summer here - full of crab feasts, swims in the bay, and exporing 'Naptown on long walks.

Our second adoptable pup of the week is Rush - a six year old Black Mouth Cur.

Rush is a big boy who also loves to go on long walks.  He's kind of a social butterfly who likes to meet everyone he comes across on these walks.  He escpcially loves hiking in the woods and doesn't mind getting his paws a little dirty

If you are interested in adopting Maxxi or Rush -  please call (410-268-4388 ) or email adoptions@aacspca.org for info.  PLEASE We ask you be patient ... operations at the shelter are moving a little slower than normal right now.
