MICHAEL KIWANUKA

Michael Kiwanuka is a British Soul musician from North London.  He began working as a session guitarist playing with the bands Chipmunk and Bashy.  Kiwanuka then began working as a solo artist releasing his first EP Tell Me A Tale on April 24th, 2011.  He gained more notoriety with the release of his first studio album Home Again in March of 2012.  Kiwanuka has been compared to Bill Withers and Otis Redding.  With influences ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Jack Johnson, Kiwanuka's soulful lyrics and warming guitar can soothe a wounded heart or provide a great soundtrack to a warm summer day.
