Phoebe Bridgers has been on a cover song for a cause kick lately ... A few weeks back - she teamed up with Maggie Rogers for a cover of the Goo Goo Dolls song Iris - with proceeds going to the chairty Fair Fight.   

 

 

The grammy nominee is back with another charitable cover - this time   Merle Haggard’s Christmas classic  “If We Make It Through December.”

 

 

Proceeds from the track, which you can download here, will go to Los Angeles’ Downtown Women’s Center.

It's not the first Christmas tune Bridgers has done - in 2019 she covered  Simon & Garfunkel's track ‘7 O’Clock News/ Silent Night’ with Fiona Apple and The National‘s Matt Berninger and in 2018 she put her spin on McCarthy Trenching’s ‘Christmas Song’ with Jackson Browne
