Since the world wide COVID-19 lock downs started - residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities have been some of the hardest hit - having very little interaction with the others outside their facilities.
One nursing home in the United Kingdom has come up with a fun way to engage their residents - having them recreate iconic album covers.
The adorable idea was the brainchild of activities coordinator Robert Speker - who had the residents dress up for photo shoots and posed for photos that were used to mimic album art by David Bowie, The Clash, Adele, Queen, and more .
Speker said his "aim was to show care homes need not be a sad environment, even during this pandemic" and that the residents had a "good giggle" at the activity :)
A GoFundMe has been established to help create more activities to help residents happy, entertained and full of spirit as the lockdown continues. He has also hinted a calendar of the images to raise funds is in the works. You can donate HERE
