One of our favorite events of the year involves food and philanthropy - its the Burritos for Beds Benefit for the Samaritan House. For the past 6 year, it has been the only day of the year that you can stop by Chevy’s Fresh Mex in Annapolis for breakfast while helping Samaritan house and their addiction recovery efforts.
But this year is a little different - since we can’t meet in person for breakfast the Samaritan House has made the charitable effort virtual. Through May 6th - everyone who makes donation made at SamaritanHouseAnnapolis.org will receive a coupon good for a free burrito from Chevy’s fresh Mex in Annapolis – valid now for curbside pick-up orders (they are open Monday-Friday 12-8p) – or in restaurant dining – once the restrictions have been lifted.
Mike Dillon, Samaritan House Board of Directors president said -
“Our work goes on, despite COVID-19. Burritos for Beds is one of our favorite opportunities to connect with our community. While we are not able to do this in person during this time, we still want to reach out and let folks know they can continue to support our mission of addiction recovery. And, thanks to our partners at Chevy's Fresh Mex Annapolis, we can still treat them to a delicious burrito.”
