How to make your own face covering now that Anne Arundel County is requiring public to wear them while shopping and working

Anne Arundel County issued an order Tuesday requiring face coverings and enhanced social distancing measures in public places beginning Wednesday April 15, 2020

Prince George’s County residents are required to wear masks when taking the public transportation or while shopping.  Montgomery County and Washington, D.C. are following similar guidelines

Masks or other face coverings are not required yet (but recommended)  in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Harford County and Howard County.

The masks don’t need to be surgical masks or N95 respirators which are needed at hospitals  - but can be face coverings you can purchase or you can make one yourself using household items  - following the CDC’s recommendations (scroll for video demos)
