The second half of the long running concert series' Austin City Limits 45th season is off to the races ... starting with a mesmerizing performance by Sharon Van Etten
And this past week's episode featured a ripping set by The Raconteurs and Austin natives - Black Pumas.
Of the episode - ACL executive producer Terry Lickona said:
“As usual, The Raconteurs are doing what comes natural – reminding us that rock and roll is alive and well, and in Jack White’s hands the power of the guitar has no match”
Their six-song set mainly featured songs from their 2019 release- Help Us Stranger - but also “Top Yourself” and their breakout track “Steady, As She Goes”.
Grammy nominated Austin based Black Pumas - who have been described as "Wu-Tang meets James Brown" also provided scorching renditions of “Colors” and “Black Moon Rising.”
