David Byrne's American Utopia tour was so fantastic (did you catch it locally at The Anthem or Merriweather?) - that the Talking Head decided to take it to Broadway.

 

The show - running at the Hudson Theater in NYC - was recently extended through February 16th.  And Byrne was recently the featured guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.  He (biked on stage) and discussed transforming the musical performance into a stage show and even taught Jimmy one of the dances from the show

 

 

 

But the most magical moment was when Byrne and his Broadway cast performed “Road to Nowhere” off 1985’s Little Creatures - complete with troupe members marching off stage and to Fallon’s desk and the show's house band - The Roots - joining in the performance
