Bruce Springsteen surprised the 400 attendees of a private benefit for Boston University at the New Jersey night club The Stone Pony by playing a 2 hour set. He was backed by by Bobby Bandiera’s band, with E-Street Band drummer joining them midway through the show for “Rosalita,” “Tenth Avenue Freeze Out,” and “Born to Run” (see full set list and some fan-shot videos below)
Springsteen’s son went Boston University and, as Variety points out - Brucs has played similar benefits at The Stone Pony in the past
