After announcing in 2016 that they planned to open a concert space in what has been dubbed ' Baltimore’s casino entertainment district' aka the gritty and dilapidated area between the Horseshoe Casino and M&T Bank Stadium - the casino owners have announced plans to break ground on The Paramount Baltimore.
The new 4000 seat venue will be at 1300 Warner Street:
Matt Herbert, Design Collective, the firm tasked with designing the building said:
“The goal of project is to create a sense of place, a unique place. People will enjoy this place not just for the specific performance, ... they will be coming to a place to enjoy this district and what happens to be a fun show tonight.”
Also planned for the area are a Top Golf (a high end driving range), a new iteration of the famed Baltimore rock club Hammerjacks, and Checkerspot Brewing (which is already open)
