"This Life", the latest single from Vampire Weekend's 18 song album Father of the Bride starts off with the lyric - 'Baby, I know pain is as natural as the rain, I just thought it didn't rain in California' 

 

And now the band has released a video for the song that captures that sentiment about the Golden State.

 

The star studded video - with cameos by Danielle Haim (and song back up vocalist), Kyle Field of Little Wings, Mark Ronson, Ariel Rechtshaid, Jovan Hill, Simi & Haze, Mark Ronson, Despot and Sophie, was directed by Emmett Malloy.  

 

Vampire Weekend will appear at Firefly - playing the FIREFLY stage at 7:30 pm (no - they're not even headling .. so you can get out of there before the traffic gets bad while the 'kids' watch Post Malone.
