Second Annual Rock & Roll Camp for adults over the age of 55. Final concert performance. 125 singers with R&R band. Free and open to the public. Concert is August 9, 2019 2:00pm. Encore Creativity for Older Adults is the nation's largest choral organization for adults age 55+ We are based in Annapolis and are a nonprofit organization with over 1200 singers in the DMV area. Last year we partnered with MD Hall as part of a summer concert series and had a great turnout and appreciative audience. This year, we're not part of the concert series and are on our own to generate awareness. In addition to posting as an event, we would be most grateful for any on air announcements you could make.

The Crofton Farmers Market features more than 50 specialty farm, food, and arts and crafts vendors and is held weekly at Crofton Country Club on Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. beginning May 1. The outdoor market offers a wide array of freshly picked produce, meats, dairy, desserts, breads and specialty foods. In addition, a fleet of food trucks arrive weekly for those who want to explore a host of prepared culinary options. The market also often offers live entertainment, face painting and children’s activities.In addition to traditional farms and orchards, this year a mushroom and a micro-green farm will round out the lineup. Howes Crabs & Seafood will join Alaskawild Seafood broadening the fresh from the sea options. For the health conscious, there will be two juice bars rotating in and Zoe’s Vegan Delight. For those with a sweet tooth, stop by Sugar, Butter Love, Pie Time, Coco Couture Chocolates and Fudge, Blackstone Chocolates, Quinn’s Ice, Cup O’Dough or Amy’s Sweet Treats. Chesepiooc Real Ale Brewery, Scorpion Brewing Company, Boordy Vineyards and Whistle Stop Winery will ensure that attendees don’t go thirsty.
