WRNR is growing faster than we expected - and we need some help!
This is an opportunity to help build the next chapter of Annapolis's local radio station while helping local businesses grow. We're looking for an outgoing, motivated person to join our full-time sales team. WRNR isn't just another radio station. We have a distinctive sound, a loyal and passionate audience, and strong connections throughout the Annapolis community. You'll work directly with local business owners to develop advertising and promotional ideas that connect them with the WRNR audience and help their businesses succeed.
What You'll Do:
Build relationships with businesses throughout Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.
Develop new clients while providing excellent service to existing accounts.
Create advertising and promotional ideas that help local businesses grow.
Prospect, schedule appointments, present proposals, and close business.
Represent WRNR at community events, Chamber activities, and local organizations.
Manage accounts, opportunities, and follow-up through the station's sales system.

Media sales experience is helpful, but it isn't essential. Local knowledge, enthusiasm, and the ability to connect with people matter just as much. We can teach radio; we can't teach personality or passion.
What We Offer
Salary: $30,000-$60,000 annually, based on experience.
Additional compensation: Commission under WRNR's sales compensation plan.

Business expenses: Approved business expenses are reimbursed.
