Hear Jack White Cover Blondie's One Way Or Another

Remember that band 400 Pounds of Punk? And their 1997 EP - He Once Ate A Small Child

Probably not ... but you may have heard of the engineer who recorded the EP - Jack White.

2 years before The White Stripes released their self titled debut, Jack was working in a make shift home studio and joined the band on vocals for the cassettes 5th unlisted track.

Third Man Records' Ben Blackwell recently revealed that he had discovered the track's existence in an essay writted for Discog's Cassette Week

Blackwell wrote: "The cassette, titled He Once Ate A Small Child, is, as far as I can tell, the rarest physical release of a Jack White performance, and prior to the mention here, the release was completely undocumented. I doubt more than a half-dozen people even knew about it.”
